Jeremy Northam and Sean Hayes team for Martin & Lewis Biopic

Will & Grace star Sean Hayes has a tall, dark, and handsome Brit in his life. Jeremy Northam, who recently portrayed gay matinee idol Ivor Novello in Gosford Park, is Hayes' new man. Northam has scored the coveted role of Rat Packer Dean Martin in the upcoming made-for-television movie about Jerry Lewis and his tempestuous 10-year partnership with Martin. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, executive producers of the biopic, led an exhaustive talent search before learning of Northam's interest in the project. Zadan has said that the actor nailed Martin's persona of "cool and detached, yet very passionate." What, wasn't Rupert Everett available? Martin & Lewis is expected to air on CBS during November sweeps.

Jeremy's Dean Martin Treat

British actor Jeremy Northam had a treat for Dean Martin fans when he appeared on American breakfast show Live With Regis + Kelly -- he wore one of the crooner's suits. The Gosford Park star plays Martin in a new TV biopic, Martin & Lewis, and fell in love with his wardrobe. His choice of suit thrilled show host Regis Philbin, who was a friend of the singer: "He really does look like Dean."
